Deskripsi

What does it really mean when the Bible calls believers a “royal priesthood”? In this episode of Kingdom Conversations, Dr. Dana Carson, Pastor Rachelle Carson, and Pastor Dana Carson II continue their journey through the biblical development of the Kingdom of God, tracing the Kingdom from Abraham to Israel and ultimately to the Church. Discover why Abraham is so important to understanding Kingdom citizenship, how Israel became a kingdom of priests, and what that history reveals about the role of believers today. Dr. Carson explores the connection between Genesis, the Abrahamic Covenant, the Tabernacle, the priesthood, Israel, and the New Testament Church, revealing how these biblical themes fit together through the lens of the Kingdom. In this conversation, you'll learn: • Why Abraham is considered the first Kingdom citizen in time and history • How covenant established Abraham's relationship with God • What it meant for Israel to become a “kingdom of priests” • The connection between Exodus 19:6 and 1 Peter 2:9 • The difference between the role of a priest and a prophet • How the Tabernacle pointed toward the work of Jesus Christ • Why understanding Israel is essential to understanding Christianity • What it means for Christians to be a “royal priesthood” today • Why the Church did not simply replace Israel • How believers represent the King and His Kingdom in the world • Why Kingdom citizenship comes with the responsibility to be a witness The Kingdom of God isn't simply a theological concept. Kingdom begins with the King, and every Kingdom citizen is called to represent Him. As Dr. Carson explains, believers carry the responsibility of representing God's Kingdom to the world. Christianity isn't merely about receiving salvation. It's about becoming a representative of the King. If you want to understand the Kingdom of God through its biblical and Jewish context, this conversation will help connect the pieces from the Old Testament to the New Testament. 👍 LIKE this episode if it helped you understand the Kingdo
