Shemesh (Sun) Poetry by: Shye Ben Tzur Sun, O sun, reveal to me A path through night's dark valleys Upon the strings of dawn Tune this heart of mine In the circle of sorrow I turn Caught in the web of the mind Rolling in the ash Of emptiness and false domains Like an exiled butterfly in a chrysalis Dreaming of its homeland's sweet nectar Will I ever break through To shine in the torch of heaven?
