Sami Galbi | A Take Away Show

Deskripsi

[ENG] International Geneva had better watch out — Vincent Moon dropped Sami Galbi’s new power trio right into the eye of the cyclone, in the legendary site of alternative resistance— and poetry — that is Le Bain des Pâquis. The Swiss-Moroccan artist raises his voice and his shoulders to a hybrid blend of raï, trap, and chaâbi, infused with contemporary electronics. Three songs from his latest album "YLH bye bye", recently released on Bongo Joe — the brilliant, trailblazing Geneva-based label — where he’s joined by Inès Mouzoune with her synthetic surges, and Yann Hunziker’s hard-hitting drums. Passersby stroll along, a flag flutters — yallah!
