Philippine Government Fire Sale: Real or Hype?

Deskripsi

What if you could buy Philippine government assets legally, transparently, and at scale? In this video, I take you inside an exclusive, invite-only conference hosted by the Privatization and Management Office (PMO), where thousands of government properties are being prepared for sale to the private sector. I’ll show you why distressed assets often hold the biggest upside, how PMO, PCGG, LANDBANK, and NDC actually sell their inventory, and what real investors need to know about risk, settlers, legal issues, pricing, and process. We also talk about 4% installment rates, no capital gains tax on PMO sales, and why there may be a coming “fire sale” as agencies are pushed to dispose their ROPA and legacy assets. In this video we cover: - Who the PMO is and how government assets are privatized - What types of properties are in the current portfolio (Makati, Caloocan, Cavite and more) - How auctions, unsolicited offers and negotiated sales really work - How agencies handle informal settlers, tax issues and title problems - Why awareness is still low (and why that means less competition) - How PCGG, LANDBANK and NDC also hold investable assets - Where the real upside is for serious investors and developers This video is part of the Breaking Ground Podcast ecosystem, where we help Filipinos invest smarter through real conversations with government, banks, and industry leaders. If you want a step-by-step breakdown of how to actually buy one of these properties, comment “PMO” and I’ll consider documenting a full acquisition journey in a future episode. 📲 Follow me for more investing and freedom-focused content: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/johndang808/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@JohnDang808 TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@johndang808 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/johndang808/ X: https://x.com/JohnDang808 💬 Join our global investor & creator community on Discord: https://discord.gg/CPY2nnFvvf #BreakingGroundPodcast #PhilippinesRealEstate #GovernmentAssets #PMOPhilippines #DistressedProperties #
