People Believe What They Need to Believe — Carl Jung

Deskripsi

What if people don't believe what is true... but what protects the reality they need to live with? This video explores the psychology of Carl Jung to reveal why people hold onto beliefs even when reality contradicts them, how the unconscious protects us from truths we are not ready to confront, and why challenging someone's worldview can feel like challenging their entire identity.Through Jung's ideas of projection, the Persona, the Shadow, and the unconscious, you'll discover why people selectively notice what confirms what they already believe, why uncomfortable truths often create defensiveness instead of reflection, and why we can spend years protecting stories about ourselves and others simply because the alternative would force us to change.People see what they are prepared to see. They defend what makes them feel safe. They reject what threatens the story they have built. And sometimes...the truth is not rejected because it is wrong. It is rejected because accepting it would change everything.Understanding this changes how you see arguments, relationships, judgment, and even your own beliefs.Because everyone has a reality they are trying to protect.Including you. This video explains why.*References:*Jung, C.
