This conversation will unpack the political and ideological currents shaping Europe’s position on the world stage and explore what the future of democracy, solidarity, and migration may look like. Moderator Hugo Brady, Senior Strategic Advisor, ICMPD Speakers Steven Everts, Director, European Union Institute for Security Studies Roland Freudenstein, Co-founder, Brussels Freedom Hub #ViennaMigrationConference 🔗 Find information on the Vienna Migration Conference (VMC) at: https://vienna-migration-conference.org/ 🔗 View the VMC2025 programme here: https://vienna-migration-conference.org/vmc2025-programme/ 🌐 Follow the ICMPD Policy & Research LinkedIn page for updates on the Vienna Migration Conference: https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/icmpd-policy-and-research/ 📧 Subscribe to the ICMPD Policy newsflash for the latest policy insights from our policy team: https://policyupdates.icmpd.org/fl/bc833017-5268-4cf9-a241-f2d69fc60bd2/ ***************************** 🔗 Learn more about ICMPD's work at: https://www.icmpd.org/ 🌐Follow @icmpd on: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/international-centre-for-migration-policy-development-/ X: https://twitter.com/ICMPD Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ICMPD Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/icmpd.org 📧 Subscribe to ICMPD's Newsletter: https://www.icmpd.org/newsletter 🎙️ Listen to the Migration Podcast by ICMPD: https://www.icmpd.org/podcast
