I Wish I Never Dated: The Hidden Cost of Dating as a Christian Woman

Deskripsi

This video is for the woman who feels like dating has done more harm than good. For the one who’s left each situation a little more tired, a little more guarded, and a little more unsure if love is worth the risk. I’m sharing why I genuinely wish I never dated. Not because I’m bitter, but because I now see what it cost me emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. Each experience felt like I was opening my heart up with hope, only to walk away carrying pain, confusion, and trust issues I didn’t start with. Topics I cover in this video: • What the world and even the Church teaches us about dating • How dating opened doors to anxiety, heartbreak, and mistrust • How testing the waters led to unnecessary soul ties • The impact of dating while abstinent • Ghosting, breadcrumbing, and mixed signals • 1 Corinthians 7:32–34 and what it reveals about single devotion • How I saw things I believe God never intended for me to witness • The memories, fears, and residue that now make it feel riskier to love • How God is meeting me in the healing Dating might feel normal. But for some of us, it has left behind wounds we’re still unpacking. This is my honest reflection as a Christian woman navigating the consequences and fruit of decisions I thought were harmless. If you’ve ever felt alone in this, you’re not. I hope this video brings clarity and healing to anyone who needs it. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
