How to Think Beyond the Role You’re In

Deskripsi

In this week’s #LuckyCut, I talk about the moment everything clicked –when I realized I didn’t want to spend my life chasing opportunities and I wanted to be the one creating them. I take you back to one of my earliest startup experiences, where I was a social media manager, sitting in rooms where million-dollar conversations were happening around me. Conversations I didn’t fully understand yet, but couldn’t ignore. Hearing someone talk about raising $15 million for an idea that hadn’t even been executed yet shifted something in me. But the real turning point wasn’t just learning what venture capital was – it was noticing the gap. Realizing that I was asking questions around sustainability, risk, and long-term thinking that weren’t always being addressed by the people writing the checks. Maybe the goal isn’t just to earn a seat at the table – maybe it’s to build toward a position where you have a say in how the table is set in the first place. Want to hear more?
