May Allah (ﷻ) reward him abundantly! Our Ramadan series was recorded at Al-Mujadilah Center and Mosque for Women in Doha, Qatar! ======== In this episode of our Ramadan series, Dr. Sh. Haifaa Younis reflects on the powerful story of the wife of Prophet Lut (AS) — a woman who lived with a Prophet yet was remembered in the Qur’an as someone who betrayed the truth. Her story teaches a profound lesson: being close to righteous people does not guarantee righteousness. Faith is personal, and every soul is accountable before Allah ﷻ. The Qur’an repeatedly reminds us that actions and loyalty to the truth matter more than family ties or status. This episode explores: • Why the wife of Prophet Lut was described as a traitor • The danger of supporting or approving sinful actions • Why faith cannot be inherited from family • How loyalty to truth must come before loyalty to people A powerful reminder that Allah ﷻ judges us by our actions and sincerity, not by who we are related to.
