A Case of Premeditation Pt ONE | Dr Thorndyke Investigates by R Austin Freeman read by Greg Wagland

Deskripsi

These stories are growing on me. This one has pollarded trees of various types, some bygone shenanigans at HMP Portland and Dr Thorndyke waxes lyrical about bloodhounds. There's a rather macabre petshop owner and of course Jervis is repeatedly delving into the green portable lab case. One again we get the Columbo method in which we get to witness the crime and then the local police are shown just what they're missing (answers on a postcard) by Dr Thorndyke. All in all, different to Holmes and Watson, but still quite satisfying if you like a bit of sleuthing in the Edwardian style. Read by me, Greg Wagland for Magpie Audio.
