A Big Sales Team Is the Biggest Lie Anyone Ever Told You

Deskripsi

Most professionals think using ChatGPT makes them AI-ready. Chase le Roux disagrees — and he has the numbers to back it up. He is the Chief Revenue Officer at Scrums.com, a global software engineering platform built on African talent and embedded AI agents. He cut his time to close deals by 50%. He doubled his conversion rate to 20%. He replaced a team of 30 account executives with a small high-performance team running AI agents — one agent doing the work of 10 humans. His take on where most professionals stand right now: "Sorry to shock you — but you know nothing about AI." We also got into why cold calling is still the most important skill in business, why a big sales team is the biggest lie anyone ever told you, and why Africa is not catching up to the world — it is about to leapfrog it. And then he said this about every business owner listening: "If you are running your business to make money, you've probably already been beaten." This is a conversation about sales, AI, and what it actually takes to compete in the next five years.
