Work Your Network With The 4Cs: Turn Every Handshake Into a Steady Stream of Referrals

It's not called Net-Sit or Net-Eat, it's called Net-Work! This book is about how to build a powerful personal network in order to create a highly successful business based on our experience in the global networking group, BNI.What would your business look like if you worked your network to the point where others were referring business to you with both confidence and consistency? For most professionals they are not receiving a steady stream of referrals and the only thing worse is not knowing why.If you knew why some refer big business to you without hesitation and why others do not, you would know exactly what to adjust to move the needle in the right direction. The 4Cs are designed to reveal what boxes you need to tick in the mind of others before you can expect to gain high quality, qualified business referrals, potentially for life.Is it just trust that is single handedly driving the referral engine, is it how good you are at what you do, or does it come down to other factors or a combination of factors such as how you communicate and the size of your network? The 4Cs will help you WORK your netWORK by exposing these boxes and what to do with your weakest link(s) so you can seize more referrals, more business and ultimately a greater opportunity to touch more people’s lives by being you. Although this book is based on our experience in BNI, the methodologies discussed here can work within any healthy networking environment.Over the years, we've learned that networking is more about farming than it is about hunting. It's about building meaningful relationships over time and this book will help you hone in on the things that will help you do that.Read more
