Veil of the Night

Chaos marked her entry into the world. If a cub is born disabled, it is often killed to prevent the pack from being weakened. Ezme was born with one leg slightly shorter than the other and was the runt among her triplet siblings. Hence, she always felt like a burden to the pack as she could never meet her mother's expectations of strength. Her parents are too occupied with the responsibilities of not just our pack but also others to grasp the daily agony she endures. Driven by her solitary love for books, she longed to embark on an adventure to the places she had only read about. Bullied by her sibling and ridiculed by the pack, she yearned to prove her worth one day. Will Ezme ever rise from her being a weak wolf to the savior of the pack?
