UNLOCKING INDULGENCES: A TREASURY FOR ALL THE FAITHFUL

Indulgences are one of the great misunderstood mercy's available to us from God. Unlocking Indulgences is a doctrinal work on indulgences. It follows closely the teachings of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Manual of Indulgences, Norms and Grants (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Washington, DC, 1999), and various papal documents on the subject. This book has received an imprimatur (March 2019) from the Catholic Church. “Indulgences opens a special door to this treasury for all the faithful.” (Manual of Indulgences, Norms and Grants, USCCB) “It is a sensitive subject, which has suffered historical misunderstandings that have had a negative impact on communion between Christians. Bringing together the various Catholic Church’s doctrines on Indulgences along with the writings of Saint John Paul II, Pope Paul VI, and Pope Francis, Unlocking Indulgences: A Treasury for All the Faithful takes a step-by-step look at what indulgences are, how to obtain an indulgence, and how indulgences are meant to lead us into a closer relationship with God. If you are unfamiliar with indulgences or haven’t taken a thoughtful look at indulgences as a daily devotional walk with Christ and the saints, “to become holy with the help of God's grace,” then this book will
