Turbulent Expansion

After surviving Halloween, Arabella Baker is determined to do things better while achieving what she planned with her daughters in moving to Boston. The fates seem to help her a bit, and the stars align along with putting together some helpful suggestions, and she manages a way to expand. However, nothing is ever easy, even for a goddess, and she hasn’t heard the end of the underhanded offers for her recipes. With how popular the bakery is in its first month and the attention they’re getting, the stakes are higher than she expected. It also means more shops opening in the park, and that could help or hurt the bakery depending on the owners. But the list of allies is growing, and with a promised first date on the horizon, Arabella finds herself unsure and a bit lost… Especially when Jamie isn’t the only one showing interest and wanting to spend time with her. How is a goddess who abandoned everything she knew and trying to rebuild her life and power supposed to simply date and not have it all explode? Karma Bakery is a slow burning romance with multiple interested parties that is full of sugar, spice, and everything nice while trying to find your place in life, doing the best you can, appreciating what you have, and figuring out a way to move beyond a traumatic past.Read more
