Treacherous Waters

As Lieutenant Joe Boyd and his partner, Hank Jensen, sort through the files, pondering which cold case homicide to work on next, an old fisherman shows up with something strange he pulled out of a pond hidden deep in the woods. This find opens a whole can of worms, refocusing Joe and Hank’s efforts in a totally new direction. A blue Camaro Z28 from the 80s, an antique camera from WW2, an old religious medal—among other things—become part of this unusual case. Joe and Hank seek to make sense of it all and piece together what happened in the days right after the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded in the sky. This triggers a renewed partnership of two unlikely killers, who’ll do anything to keep this investigation from exposing their secrets.Read more
