Surviving My Publisher: Life as an Urban Fiction Authoress

The urban literary industry is like no other. Authors have a way with words and tell stories of love, struggles andeveryday life. Behind the pen can be just as exciting as the words on the page. This my story.Surviving My PublisherAlmost every day I encounter someone who says they want to write a book. If I only had a dollar every time someone tells me that. More goes into a book than having a nice cover and promoting on FB groups. There is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that takes place. I thought having a publisher would make this an easy journey but baby let me tell you... I've had a few publishers. Some good some bad. From short royalty checks to author beef, I got a story for you. I’ve had a book stolen from me before. Almost been blackballed. My pen sisters turned their backs on me… I’ve ghostwritten a few books for some of the top sellers. I’ve been in this industry for a minute and some days I just want to log out of my laptop and cancel writing but I can’t this industry needs me. My books are about sex, money and scandal. It's crazy when real life imitates art, it's supposed to be the other way around. My life as an urban fiction author has been filled with so many twists and turns. This book will entertain you and shed light on behind the scenes on my storySurviving My PublisherRead more
