Kendi: Crushes, Glitches, Meltdowns—Feelings spiraling. Focus shattered. One move from emotional checkmate.

New crush. More glitches. Same disaster energy.Post-lockdown Nairobi is buzzing louder than a matatu playlist, and I’m still the queen of the chessboard—only now, I’m playing a way riskier game: my heart, my future, and a lineup of feelings I definitely never ordered. My dreams? Glitching harder than my Wi-Fi during online classes.Alex? Acting shady, side-eyeing me like I betrayed the sisterhood, and switching moods faster than TikTok trends.Leo? All cologne, charm, bad timing—and the power to fry my brain with a single sentence. And Kate—the snarky voice in my head? She’s running a 24/7 live commentary with zero chill. My world’s officially a high-speed crash of skipped heartbeats, friendship plot twists, and 3 a.m. overthinking spirals.Chasing your dreams is hard.Chasing them while your heart breaks every rule? Practically impossible.Kate:“Honey, that’s not chasing dreams—that’s chasing a full-on nervous breakdown. And you’re gaining.”I’m trying to hold it together. Really. But the game just changed—and I’m one move away from emotional checkmate.Fast-paced, funny, and painfully relatable, Kendi: Crashes, Glitches, Meltdowns is a coming-of-age romcom with a Kenyan heartbeat—served with sass, snark, and total emotional chaos.Read more
