America's Revival Heritage: How Christian Reformation and Spiritual Awakening Led to the Formation of the United States of America

In this Second Edition of America's Revival Heritage, Dr. Eddie Hyatt shows that the first immigrants to America were devout Christians who were seeking church reform and renewal, for which they were persecuted in the Old World. He documents the critical role of the First Great Awakening in the formation of the United States of America and shows how this revival broke down racial, denominational, and cultural barriers and prepared the way for the Declaration of Independence of 1776. He documents the faith of the Founding Fathers and shows that it was the fruit of this Awakening. He explains the difference between a theocracy and a Constitutional Republic based on Christian principles and shows that America was founded as the latter. He also shows that the way forward for America is remembering her past.Read more
