Rooted in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 — "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" — this prayer walks through the stories of Jonah in the deep, the one leper who returned to say thank you, and Job who worshiped before a single thing was restored. Gratitude is not a feeling that waits for better conditions. It is a choice you make while the storm is still raging, and God leans close to the heart that gives Him thanks in the fire. As you listen, open your heart and receive peace, courage, and faith for the day ahead. In this prayer and devotional you will be reminded that: - Gratitude is a weapon that breaks the grip of the storm - God searches for the heart that remembers to return and give thanks - The deepest worship praises God before the breakthrough ever comes - Your thanksgiving is never wasted, even when no one else sees it Pray along or simply listen in faith, and stay until the end to receive the full blessing of this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus.
