🎧📖FULL AudioBook - Dramatic Reading | "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" was first published in the UK in The Strand Magazine in February 1892. It is considered one of the best Sherlock Holmes stories, and was a favorite of author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In April 1883, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson meet with a young woman named Helen Stoner, who is in fear for her life. She explains that her mother married her stepfather, Dr. Grimesby Roylott, in British India when Helen and her twin sister Julia were two years old. Dr. Grimesby Roylott is the deeply indebted sole survivor of a formerly wealthy aristocratic English family. After serving time in an Indian prison for murdering his Indian butler in a rage, Roylott moved the family back to England. He retired after Helen's mother was killed in a railway accident eight years prior. Currently, the sisters live at the heavy mortgaged and debt ridden Roylott estate of Stoke Moran. Increasingly, Dr Roylott's violent temper and strength make him a terror in the local village. 🌟🎧📚 https://GreatestAudioBooks.co 🌐 💌 S u b s c r i b e to @GreatestAudioBooks https://www.youtube.com/GreatestAudioBooks/subscribe 💙 T w i t t e r / X: https://www.twitter.com/GAudioBooks - - - - - - - - - 📖 READ along by clicking (CC) for Closed Caption Transcript 🎧 LISTEN to the entire audiobook for free - - - - - - - - - 💌 S u b s c r i b e to @GreatestAudioBooks https://www.youtube.com/GreatestAudioBooks/subscribe 💙 T w i t t e r / X: https://www.twitter.com/GAudioBooks 📸 I n s t a: https://www.instagram.com/greatestaudiobooks 🕧 T i k T o k: https://www.tiktok.com/@greatestaudiobooks 🔲K o j i ► https://koji.to/GreatestAudioBooks 🎁 S H O P : https://www.amazon.com/shop/GreatestAudioBooks 🎧 30 day Audible audiobooks trial►https://amzn.to/2Iu08SE 📙 More vids on 👩🏿‍🚀O d y s e e : https://odysee.com/$/invite/@GreatestAudioBooks:c 🎧 Audiobooks .com 🎧 30 day trial►https://tinyurl.com/2x6ac4ff Listen in these languages: 🇳🇱 Dutch 🇫🇷 French 🇩🇪 German 🇮🇳 Hindi 🇮🇩 Indonesian
