Built to solve reliability and accessibility challenges - especially in underserved communities - the platform is taking a focused, ground-up approach to redefining urban transport. Currently in its growth phase, Bro is prioritizing high-density areas like the East Rand to ensure consistent driver availability and a better rider experience. At its core, the company positions drivers as the product - empowering them through a model where drivers keep 100% of their earnings, creating stronger incentives for service quality and platform loyalty. Bro is also introducing innovation tailored to local realities. Through Zero Billing, users can book rides without mobile data, improving access across low-connectivity areas. In partnership with SaferCity, the platform integrates rapid first-response support via an in-app panic button - placing safety at the centre of the experience. More than just a ride-hailing service, Bro is building a community-driven mobility platform with ambitions to scale across South Africa and beyond - setting a new standard for reliable, inclusive transport in emerging markets.
