Hyper-Independence: Empowerment or Trauma Response?

विवरण

"I don't need anyone"...sounds empowering, right? But what happens when that mindset starts closing the door on real love and connection? This week Toni is unpacking hyper-independence in women: the difference between being self-sufficient and emotionally shutting the world out. In Teatime with Toni, two listeners share how their independence is costing them in love, one was told she felt more like an "accessory" than a partner, and another's boyfriend is hurt that she still won't let him show up for her. This one hits different. Join our Patreon: Patreon.com/ToniToldMe — new episodes drop every Friday!Got a dilemma of your own and need some big-sis wisdom?
