Generations Ep. 10: Is Hiya Holding Us Back?

विवरण

Filipino culture is anchored by hiya—too shy to speak up, too shy to ask for more. But in a time when there are big dreams to chase and the possibilities are endless, it might be time to ask: Is hiya still important in grounding us, or has it become something that stops us from reaching our full potential? In this Generations episode, veteran journalist Luchi Cruz-Valdes, PhilSTAR Life’s Gen Z columnist Angel Martinez, and content creator Raco Ruiz talk about the concept of hiya and why we need to rethink it now.The Generations podcast is executive produced by Sheila Paras with Brooke Villanueva of PhilSTAR Life and Sol Galang of IM Creatives.Shot at: IM Creative SpaceEquipment: IM RentalsFrom IM Creatives:Angelica VillanuevaPJ MartinezMulawin GalangCelina Sta.
