Democratic of the Congo: Land of Promise video explains how Resplendent Hope sponsored a three-day art therapy training for the leaders of Africa New Day in Goma, DRC. Narrated by Camille Ntoto, the founder and executive director of Africa New Day, the video also features therapist, Elise Froistad, as she explains how art therapy can help heal brain trauma. Elise and her team were trained by the First Aid Arts program. Through drawing, painting, stretching, deep breathing, dancing and drumming, these creative exercises can help heal the brain from the devastating effects of trauma. This video was produced through a media partnership with the Congo Reform Association.
