विवरण

First, we speak to The Indian Express’ Sweety Kumari about the transfer of IPS officer Dr Bushara Bano following a video in which she praised an AMU coaching academy, how the government has justified its action, and why the case has raised concerns about its treatment of minority expression.Next, we speak to The Indian Express’ Raakhi Jagga about the Punjab government’s noticeably softer response to protests by employees and farmers, the electoral influence claimed by these groups, and why the shift is being read as political damage control. And in the end, we look at the National Green Tribunal’s order directing the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department to plant 7,000 trees after around 700 were felled for a road linked to a proposed cricket stadium in the Bhoj Wetland catchment area.Hosted by Ichha SharmaProduced and written by Shashank Bhargava and Ichha SharmaEdited and mixed by Suresh Pawar
