Russia, China, and Australia all have competing interests that differ but are related, and this book discusses why. Russia's role in all this is that it will assist China in being the party's muscle as they have the second largest navy and the fourth largest army in the world, and they are the world's largest exporter of fossil fuels and fertilizer. Your country is already a province of China, but with Russia's assistance, China will now control your country's energy and food security needs. The only way to play this is to ride the wave, that is, borrow as much as you can from China, buy as many Chinese goods as you can, and trade freely!
