Your Sin Isn't Disqualifying You, It's Refining You - Pastor Joby Martin & Denny Thompson

Description

This week on Built 4 More, Pastor Joby Martin and Denny Thompson sit down alone. Just the two of them answering listener questions. They open on what may be the most common question in the inbox. What do you do after baptism when you find yourself back in the same sin you thought you left behind. Joby walks through the difference between conviction and condemnation, the three tenses of salvation, and why the instinct to clean yourself up before coming back to God is the exact opposite of what God actually wants from you.The conversation moves through some of the heaviest questions you have asked. Discerning God's calling on your life versus your own ambition. Carrying the burden of leading a family when the world feels heavier than it used to. Supporting a husband struggling with his identity. Loving a family member fighting suicidal thoughts. Raising an athlete without putting a weight on them they were never meant to carry. Talking to the friend who says they want to believe but cannot get there. What it actually looks like to tithe when every dollar feels accounted for.
