Wegovy launch

Description

Novo Nordisk has launched Wegovy in the Philippines, a semaglutide-based medication designed to help Filipinos with obesity or who are overweight manage their condition and address related comorbidities. Wegovy works by mimicking the body’s natural GLP-1 hormone, helping users feel fuller and potentially supporting weight reduction when combined with proper diet and exercise. The company said that Wegovy is different from Ozempic, its earlier semaglutide-based drug introduced in 2017. Novo Nordisk Philippines general manager Wei Sun, Ozempic is intended for type 2 diabetes, while Wegovy is specifically indicated for weight management, with differences in dosage between the two treatments. #Wegovy #NovoNordisk #Obesity —— Connect with BusinessWorld! https://www.bworldonline.com/ https://bworld-x.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpx8fh6GoIfNxQDrOS1Ihgg https://www.facebook.com/BWorldPH/ https://www.instagram.com/bworldph/ https://www.linkedin.com/company/businessworldph/ https://x.com/bworldph https://www.threads.net/@bworldph https://www.tiktok.com/@businessworldph?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc https://bsky.app/profile/bworldph.bsky.social https://open.spotify.com/show/4fDeeUPNI3AVdAh9qO3Kbt?si=fcfe29f161424548 https://invite.viber.com/?g2=AQAuGEv6URlPYEzhaS7X5bPrUeQBAfshJ2r5HC%2Fp3yrOY5v0cDhpP17MkiOHjMsa #BWorldPH #BusinessWorldPH
