Description

This week on Holly Randall Unfiltered, Holly sits down with performer, creator, and entrepreneur Eva Maxim for an honest conversation about identity, ambition, and building a career on your own terms.Born and raised in Cuba, Eva shares her journey from immigrating to the United States to transitioning at 21 and eventually becoming one of the most recognizable trans performers in the industry. Known for combining cosplay, storytelling, original content, and a distinct creative voice, Eva explains how she built a brand that stands out in an increasingly crowded digital landscape.Eva opens up about her early days in the business, the realities of navigating visibility as a trans performer, and why authenticity has been one of her greatest assets. She discusses the challenges and opportunities that come with representing a community, how the industry has evolved over the years, and why she believes visibility alone isn't enough without meaningful representation. The conversation also goes beyond her career, diving into dating, therapy, personal growth, setting boundaries, international travel, and the lessons she's learned from living so much of her life in the public eye. Eva shares why she embraces being a role model, the responsibility that comes with it, and how she balances public expectations with staying true to herself.Whether you're already familiar with Eva's work or discovering her for the first time, this episode offers a thoughtful, funny, and surprisingly vulnerable look at one of the industry's most unique personalities.Huge thanks to SC World for sponsoring this episode.YouTube: @scworld.officialInstagram: @scworld.officialFollow Holly Randall on all platforms: HollyLinks.comSubscribe for exclusive interviews, bonus episodes, and behind-the-scenes content:Patreon.com/HollyRandallUnfilteredBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/holly-randall-unfiltered--6630320/support.
