Trans Daughter Confesses to Executing Parents Over Surgery Feud

Description

A Utah transgender woman accused of brutally murdering her parents calmly confessed to detectives, admitting she “killed two people” after what investigators say was a long-running family conflict tied to her transition and resentment toward both parents. Police say Mia Bailey shot and killed her mother and father inside their home while her brother narrowly escaped, later telling investigators he immediately suspected Mia. In chilling interrogation footage, Bailey showed little emotion as she described “doing the deed,” and she was ultimately sentenced to two consecutive life sentences after a judge called her actions “very chilling.” Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
