The Road to Freedom with Founder of @Passu-TCF Youssef (Joseph) Assad

Description

What if the thing that held you back… became the thing you built your life around? For Youssef (Joseph) Assad, it started with a failure. A language test that stood between him and a new life. A system that didn’t feel built for people like him. And a decision to figure it out anyway. From traveling across Asia and rethinking how he lived, to learning French in under a year to accelerate his path to Canada, Joseph’s journey is one of persistence, reinvention, and clarity. Today, he’s the founder of Passu, a platform helping others prepare for the same high-stakes exams—this time with structure, support, and systems that actually work. This episode isn’t about looking like a founder. It’s about building something real, staying close to the problem, and having the endurance to keep going—even when doubt shows up. Because sometimes the path forward starts exactly where you struggled most.
