Taylor Swift's Wedding Was "Tacky"? Anonymous Guests Complain About the Buffet and the Raffle — Pat McAfee and Tavia Hunt Fire Back

Description

Taylor Swift Today with Lyla: the honeymoon is on, the newlyweds have vanished — and the wedding still won't stop making headlines. This week a genuine war broke out over whether the wedding of the century was fabulous or, per some anonymous guests, kind of tacky. The complaints: a buffet instead of a sit-down dinner, an hour-long luxury raffle, and vows that ran twenty minutes each. The pushback came from people willing to attach their names to it. Plus the secret dog nobody knew about, the loveliest story about the man who stood beside Taylor at the altar, and a little more on the dress. 🍽️ The "tacky" complaints (all from anonymous guests): food carts from Taylor and Travis's favorite New York restaurants plus a fifteen-cake station instead of a formal dinner, a raffle one insider called "demeaning," and forty combined minutes of vows📣 The on-the-record rebuttal: Tavia Hunt, wife of Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, says nobody ran out of champagne, there were no long lines, and everyone was seated for the ceremony — and Pat McAfee, live on ESPN, called it the greatest night of all time, name-checking Nobu, Patrick Mahomes on the dance floor, and Paul McCartney playing a song he hadn't performed since the 1960s🐶 The secret dog: photos confirm the couple owns a fluffy white Samoyed — spotted trotting down Taylor's jet steps, and present at the wedding — plus the year-old Jason Kelce podcast clue (a chewed green velvet couch) that nobody caught🤍 Austin Swift, Man of Honor: Taylor's famously private younger brother, who works music licensing at her management company and was sent — with mom Andrea — to sit down and tell her story during the fight to buy back her masters 🙅 The stars who had to say no: Shania Twain (booked with Harry Styles), Ryan Seacrest (RSVP'd yes, then Disney called), James Taylor, and Charles Barkley, who doesn't do weddings or funerals👗 The dress: still no photos, but Dior's Jonathan Anderson says he and Taylor became good friends making it — and a report suggests it drew inspiration from Elizabeth Tay
