Starting Over Again | Dayan Elloren

Description

Starting over again is never easy. It’s painful to try again after disappointment, rejection, failure, or exhaustion. Sometimes the hardest moments in life are not when we did nothing, but when we gave everything we had and still came up empty. Yet in Luke 5, Jesus reminds us that our failures are not the end of the story. Simon Peter spent the whole night fishing and caught nothing, but one moment of surrendered obedience changed everything. God can do more in one moment of “Because You say so” faith than we can do in years of anxious striving. Maybe today, God is asking you to trust again, pray again, love again, believe again, and lower the nets one more time. The same place that carried your disappointment may become the very place where you encounter God’s abundance.
