So This Happened (EP 383) reviews: Leadership crisis rocks NURTW as MC Oluomo, Baruwa clash

Description

A fresh leadership crisis has erupted within the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) after Tajudeen Baruwa stormed the union’s secretariat in Abuja to reclaim his position as president, displacing Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo. While court rulings have consistently recognised Baruwa as the legitimate leader, MC Oluomo has continued to operate with strong internal backing, leading to a dramatic standoff over control of the union. The situation has raised questions about enforcement of court decisions and the power struggle within one of Nigeria’s most influential transport bodies. #viralpost #sothishappened #punchnewspapers #NURTW #MCOluomo #NigeriaPolitics #AbujaNews
