So This Happened (EP 382) reviews: Outrage as festival assault videos surface in Delta community

Description

Disturbing videos from a traditional festival in Ozoro, Delta State, have sparked nationwide outrage after scenes showed women being harassed and assaulted in public spaces. The footage captured victims running, crying, and calling for help as groups of men attacked them, raising serious concerns about safety and harmful cultural practices. Following the backlash, authorities arrested key organisers, while the Delta State Government condemned the incident and reaffirmed its stance against gender-based violence. The development has triggered wider conversations about accountability, the protection of women, and the need to address unchecked practices within communities. #viralpost #sothishappened #punchnewspapers #DeltaState #GenderBasedViolence #WomenSafety #NigeriaNews ----- What is this channel all about?
