This prayer is for the one lying awake in the dark with a restless body, a racing mind, and wounds that the daylight never seems to reach. It is for the one carrying a diagnosis, a loss, or years the enemy has eaten away. Wherever you are - in your bed, on your knees, sitting in the dark - settle in and pray along, or simply listen in faith and receive every word. This healing prayer moves through four movements, each with its own prayer: 1. Confession and Forgiveness - before we ask for anything, we come clean. Confession is agreeing with God about what He already sees and stepping into the light where healing can finally reach you (Psalm 66:18, 1 John 1:9, Psalm 32:3-5). 2. Sanctification - being set apart and made whole, becoming the kind of vessel that healing can flow through and stay in (1 Thessalonians 5:23). 3. Restoration - God restores the years and rebuilds the ruins. He breathed on dry bones and they stood up an exceedingly great army. Our God does His best work in the rubble (Joel 2:25, Job 42:10, Ezekiel 37). 4. Healing of the Body - God cares about your body. By His stripes we are healed, and the transaction is already complete.
