Pray for Strength to Resist Temptation Today | Morning Prayer

Description

📖 “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come…” – 2 Timothy 3, verses 1–5 ✨ The Bible warns us that the last days will be marked by people who are lovers of themselves, lovers of money, ungrateful, and even those who carry an outward form of godliness but deny its true power. This passage is not just a description of the world—it is a call for us to examine our own hearts. In this heartfelt prayer and reflection, we are reminded that walking with Christ requires more than appearance. It requires transformation. ✅ True faith means denying self and following Jesus (Matthew 16:24) ✅ True security comes from serving God, not money (Matthew 6:24) ✅ True worship flows from a grateful heart (1 Thessalonians 5:18) ✅ True godliness carries the power of the Holy Spirit, not empty rituals (Matthew 15:8) 💡 Maybe you’ve been feeling the pull of the world—tempted to put self above Christ, to chase after wealth, or to take God’s blessings for granted. Maybe your faith has felt like going through the motions, but without the fire of the Spirit. This is your reminder: God is after your heart, not your performance. When the Holy Spirit fills you, self-centeredness gives way to love, greed turns into generosity, ingratitude becomes thanksgiving, and empty religion becomes living faith. His presence transforms everything. 🙏 Let us pray together—asking God to search our hearts, expose what doesn’t belong, and fill us with His Spirit so that our lives reflect not just words, but His power. 📖 Bible References: 2 Timothy 3:1–5 Matthew 16:24 1 Timothy 6:10 Matthew 6:24 Lamentations 3:22–23 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Matthew 15:8 John 14:15–17 Romans 5:8 Psalm 139:23–24 Galatians 5:22–23 Hebrews 12:14 John 14:27 💬 If this prayer has spoken to your heart, type ‘Amen’ in the comments as a sign of faith.
