Manon appears at Coachella! Jisoo speaks out about her brother, NewJeans comeback

Description

K-pop is having one of its most chaotic weeks of 2026, and four major stories are unfolding all at once. BLACKPINK's Jisoo has broken her silence through an official legal statement after her brother Kim Junghoon was arrested on sexual assault allegations, with her agency BLISSOO pushing back hard against online claims linking her to the case and threatening civil and criminal action against false information. Over at HYBE, NewJeans comeback rumors are heating up again after leaked practice room footage, Copenhagen sightings, and a resurfaced Q1 earnings prediction pointing to a possible return in the second half of 2026, though fans remain skeptical given Danielle's unresolved legal situation and Minji's unclear status. THE BOYZ are now in a full legal battle with their agency One Hundred after nine members filed for contract termination, with the first court hearing on April 20 revealing claims of billions in unpaid production costs, a missing housing deposit, and members self-funding their own concerts. And KATSEYE's Manon shocked everyone at Coachella weekend two by stepping onto PinkPantheress's stage alongside Janelle Monáe and Zara Larsson, despite being on a health hiatus that kept her from performing with her own group, sparking a heated debate over what's really going on behind the scenes.
