MADDISON B Talks Bermuda Culture, Why Everyone Thinks She's British & Leaving Influencing Behind!!

Description

Joyce is joined by the one and only Madison B — Bermuda-born content creator, influencer, and now recording artist making serious waves in the UK music scene. From growing up on a tiny island where everyone knows everyone, to landing in Britain, being told she sounds British, and quietly building a career that refuses to be put in a box — Madison B is one of those people you just need to sit with and listen to.We get into everything. Her upbringing in Bermuda and what that culture really looks like from the inside. The experience of going to a private school, learning Spanish, and then navigating UK university life. What it actually means to transition from influencing to music — the real version, not the polished one. And of course, the conversations that always end up in the comment section: Bermuda men, girl tribes, spontaneous friendships, star signs (she doesn't believe in them, by the way), and why Afrobeats just isn't her thing. We also get into gatekeeping — and why Madison thinks we should bring it back. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
