Macbeth: A Shakespeare Story

Description

Tonight's sleep story is Macbeth by William Shakespeare, retold by Edith Nesbit. You know the story of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth and their thirst for power at any cost originally written by William Shakespeare. This adaptation by Edith Nesbit condenses and simplifies the story but the end remains the same. If you're still awake, the second story is Measure for Measure. A story you might not be as familiar with. Support the podcast and enjoy ad-free and bonus episodes. Try FREE for 7 days on Apple Podcasts.
