Kept in the Dark: The Shocking Crimes of Johannes Mowers | South African True Crime

Description

#VirencinaSchroeder #JohannesMowers #SouthAfricanCrime #TrueCrimeSouthAfrica NEW episodes EVERY week! Hello episode 35 of Makeup & Mayhem: True Crime with Bella Monsoon…me! This weeks episode: In a small valley just past Hermanus known for fine wines and fruit, horse rides and gorgeous dams- the veiled societal issues of poverty, illiteracy and alcohol abuse amongst those who worked the farms remained just out of sight and mind. That was until a spate of burglaries and assaults exposed the dark underside of reality with residents fearing that they would be the next ones to be hit by what or who was only initially known as the Phantom. Then a young girl went missing. 18 months later, when all hope was almost lost- a shocking discovery would be made and with this revelation, the trajectory of two young girls’ lives would be forever changed. This story will enrage you. This story will break your heart. This story will open your eyes to the evil that lives amongst us. This is Virencina Rensie Schroeder’s story. P.S I decided to partially mute some words as I am constantly trying to ensure the videos meet community guidelines and policies! So I am experimenting with different approaches (whilst keeping the story intact) in order to hopefully reach a good space for the channel and of course the #BellaBoos P.P.S. A special mention to the Pebbles project doing absolutely amazing work for a vulnerable community that truly needs the assistance. You can find them here if you would like to learn more or support their cause: https://www.pebblesproject.org Oh If you’re new to the channel, here it is in a nutshell. I’m a mental health professional, true crime fanatic AND makeup lover. Inspired by the Youtube True Crime & Beauty movement- I decided to combine the three and bring you the potential psychological motives behind real life crimes whilst completing an easy to create makeup look (every alternate week that is!)
