A New Day! - Go Fish - Go Fish Podcast for Kids!

Description

In this episode of The Go Fish Podcast For Kids, titled A New Day!, Jamie, Chad, and DJ Chase explore the theme of daily routines with humor, music, and Scripture. The episode kicks off with Jamie asking the guys about their favorite parts of the day. Chad shares his preferred day of the week, while Chase discusses whether he’s a morning person or a night owl, providing some fun insights for kids. To help children remember the days of the week, the Go Fish Guys perform an upbeat, catchy song called "Days of the Week." This fun musical segment aims to engage younger listeners while making learning enjoyable. After the song, the trio introduces the Dad Joke of the Day, injecting humor into the podcast with lighthearted jokes. These moments bring a playful energy to the show, keeping it entertaining for kids while also offering some laughs for parents tuning in. The focus of the episode then shifts to one of the daily activities that many kids might find challenging—bedtime. Chad talks about how he disliked bedtime as a child but leads into a “calming” song titled "Jammies" created to make bedtime a bit more fun. Next, the podcast takes a thoughtful turn as Chase leads into a Bible-centered discussion with the segment "Bible Beats." Jamie reads from Psalm 118:24: “This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” The team reflects on the meaning of this verse, emphasizing that each day is a precious gift from God, whether it’s filled with work, play, or rest. The episode wraps up with a final song, "The All Day Song," reinforcing the idea that we should praise God throughout the day. The Go Fish Guys close by reminding kids that they are awesome just the way they are, leaving them with a positive message of self-worth and gratitude for each day.
