March 2026 marks 100 years since The Observer created the cryptic crossword. 100 years with legendary setters, Torquemada, Ximenes, Azed and now Gemelo. We invited some of the cryptic crossword's biggest fans to come in and tell us about why they love the crossword, and specifically why they love legendary setter, Jonathan Crowther.
