Why kill the fittest old folks?Charlie North and Ben Tucker, late-blooming amateur sleuths, are hired to find the answer. They’re sent to Elysian Meadowlands, a posh retirement village where the residents are strangely youthful, the Cougars are surprisingly frisky, and some residents are plainly sinister.Charlie and Ben aren’t just solving the case—they’re next on the hit list.Charlie and Ben dig up strange secrets in this wildly upscale community, a place that seems too good to be true. (Spoiler alert: it is.).Catching the killer will keep you guessing to the end, and then you’ll wonder about the secrets of Elysian Meadowlands long after you’ve finished the book.If you don’t like stories that make you laugh while also wondering who’s about to get knocked off next, skip this one.
