The Descent To Compassion

As they walked alongside Jesus outside the temple walls, the disciples gained a deeper understanding of how to share the message of the Kingdom. The book "Descent to Compassion" takes readers beyond the confines of Sunday morning services and evangelism projects and into the real world, where life happens, and a 30-minute sermon won't suffice. The author invites readers to join Jesus in His everyday work and walk alongside Him, where divine moments occur because God is always at work. We can see those hurting by opening our eyes, and Jesus is actively pursuing their hearts. We have a choice to join Him or walk away. By experiencing these moments of divine encounter, our lives receive fresh meaning, and we become more focused on others than ourselves. The Lord has prepared good works for us and is ready to guide us to discover where those works exist. "The Descent to Compassion" teaches us how to live a fulfilling and inspired life as we follow Christ into the sea of humanity. Just as Jesus touched the untouchables, He calls on us to descend into a place of humility and compassion to touch every hurting heart.Read more
