Nothing spoils a home like dragon dung. Just ask the unicorns. Two ancient species, eternal enemies, vie for supremacy. In a land where unicorns rule, the arrival of dragons means trouble. To Ember, First Captain of the Unicorn Army, dragons are a mere disruption. Beautiful, his power matched only by his arrogance, Ember plans to cast these dragons from his land easily enough.Until the Red Moon begins an untimely rise, and Ember's attention is quickly diverted. To the Elders of the herd, the Red Moon is the darkest of omens. It precedes the awakening of a great beast. One who thirsts for unicorn blood. To the young members of the herd, the Red Moon is superstitious nonsense. A means by which the Elders try to control their lives.Torn between old beliefs and decades of peace, Ember is reluctant to choose a side. The herd needs no reason for further division, but doubt chews at his mind. What if dismissing this warning is a grave error? Failing the herd would put his captaincy and, worse, his ego at risk. The situation turns dire when his treasured home is attacked, and Ember is nearly killed.A new danger threatens the island with annihilation and Ember realizes he must turn to the very beings he despises most for aid.The dragons…Oh, the travesty!Set 1000 years before Keaton & Kael, The Besieged Unicorn Army of Ryk is the prequel to Dragonsown.Order both today!Read more
