Sho Madjozi

Sho Madjozi is a cultural powerhouse and global ambassador for African creativity. Hailing from Limpopo, South Africa, she burst onto the scene with her bold fusion of Tsonga, Swahili, and English lyrics, infectious gqom-rooted melodies, and a signature style blending traditional xibelani skirts with streetwear. Her debut album, Limpopo Champions League (2018), and viral hit “John Cena” catapulted her to international fame, earning her multiple South African Music Awards, a BET Award, and performances on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including Madison Square Garden. Her creativity extends beyond music. She's a best-selling children’s author, and her outfit from the Global Citizen Festival was recently featured in the Africa Fashion exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum. As a true trailblazer, she celebrates African heritage while bridging global cultures, using her platform to unite and inspire across languages, genres, and borders. With recent singles like "Ndi Rine" and "Kadigong," and collaborations with artists across the globe, Sho Madjozi continues to innovate, amplifying Africa’s voice on the world stage.
