Ruger

Ruger is one of Afrobeats’ most distinctive voices, blending dancehall, R&B, and pure Nigerian swagger into a sound that’s taken him from Lagos to sold-out shows worldwide. With hits like “Bounce,” “Girlfriend,” “Asiwaju,” and 2025’s viral “Toma Toma,” Ruger has carved a lane of his own—bold, confident, and unapologetic. His sophomore album BlownBoy Ru (2025) cements him as a global force, with collaborations featuring Tiwa Savage, Kranium, Zlatan, and Haile. From pink hair and eyepatch to his new bald-headed, shades-and-grills era, Ruger continues to evolve, proving why he’s one of Afrobeats’ most exciting stars.
