Mission and Sacrament: A Paleo-Orthodox approach to Contextualization and Discipleship in the Muslim World

Why Mission and Sacrament? Most people engaged in ministry to and among Muslims, and specifically hoping to invite them to believe in Jesus Christ and be saved, are evangelical and charismatic Christians. In this book, I—and I do consider myself an evangelical Anglican—argue that the historical, sacramental vision of discipleship and formation has a lot to offer to my colleagues.Sacraments are outward signs of an inward grace. They are visible, tangible, tastable things that God has insituted to point us toward the interior or invisible spiritual world. My hope is that this brief publication will broaden your horizon and expand your vision for God's mission to Muslims today.Read more
